Company Approved to Transmit Fingerprints for Employment, Licensing, and Other Non-criminal Purposes
ASHBURN, Va. – February 14, 2012 –Telos Identity Management Solutions, LLC (Telos® ID), has been selected by the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) to collect and submit fingerprints to the FBI’s Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) division and to transmit electronic record check results to authorized government agencies and entities.
Telos ID offers this service to authorized government agencies and entities through a comprehensive platform for employees, job candidates, and contractors.

As an FBI-approved channeler, Telos ID collects fingerprint and biographic data from authorized government agencies and entities and electronically forwards the submissions to the FBI CJIS Division. The FBI then compares those fingerprints to those stored in the Integrated Automated Fingerprint Identification System (IAFIS) database of known criminal fingerprints. Telos ID transmits the results electronically to the authorized government agency and entities via a secure web portal.
