The United States Department of Defense faces an accelerating number of threats and attacks on its weapons systems, logistics networks, information and communications technology, and other systems. Telos® Corporation has worked with every branch of the military and many Defense agencies to help strengthen and defend these systems.
Our Xacta® platform for cyber risk management and continuous compliance is used by the United States Air Force, the Defense Intelligence Agency and all the military intelligence components, several COCOMs, the United States Coast Guard, and several other DoD activities. Xacta operationalizes the NIST-based standards and frameworks used by the defense community and its supporting industries, including NIST SP 800-53, NIST RMF for DoD IT, CNSS 1253, DoD IL4 and IL5, and overlays for tailoring them to specific requirements. Xacta also integrates with eMASS to make its data available to Xacta’s robust risk management and reporting functionality.
Telos also offers leading cloud security and compliance solutions specifically developed for defense and intelligence requirements. Our work with AWS and Microsoft Azure in highly secure sovereign regions has led to capabilities that speed time to ATO, reducing the time and effort for many burdensome tasks by up to 90 percent. We have proven experience in cloud migration, managed services, and security for the Department of Defense, the U.S. Intelligence Community, and highly sensitive civilian federal agencies. We are proficient in FedRAMP High, DoD CC SRG Levels 2, 4, 5, and 6, and the NIST security controls and frameworks as they apply to the cloud.
For sensitive use cases and applications, Telos Ghost® is a virtual obfuscation network-as-a-service originally developed for the Intelligence Community to make personnel, their devices, and their work invisible on the internet. Telos Ghost is used in the Defense Department to conduct cyber readiness inspections, protect red teams from discovery and to provide security and privacy for cyber researchers investigating threats — all without revealing their identity or location.
For more than two decades, Telos has delivered solutions for some of the most challenging secure mobility requirements. We’ve provided the largest deployment of enterprise wireless networks to the U.S. Department of Defense, designed a secure deployable mesh wireless system for the U.S. Army that connects personnel in remote locations with logistics systems, and provided managed enterprise wireless access to DISANet throughout DISA’s three-building campus at Ft. Meade, Md. Our DAWN deployable access nodes extend network resources to deliver online maintenance manuals, logistics orders, and emergency communications to hard-to-reach points of work.
Telos cybersecurity and information assurance specialists provide a range of services to harden IT defenses, manage risk, and expedite compliance with established security standards in both NIPRNet and SIPRNet environments. The systems we assess range from large enclaves to small complex appliances, including everything from tactical communications/battlefield management and weapons systems through enterprise systems, training and simulation systems, mission applications, and business/laboratory networks, as well as real-time embedded systems, point-of-sales (POS) terminals, medical devices, and SCADA components and electronic sensors.
Our network management and defense services for the military support the operation, administration, and defense of complex enterprise networks on a managed basis. Our services reduce total cost of ownership while also ensuring system and network availability, information protection, and assured information delivery.
Our Telos Automated Message Handling System (AMHS) is the most widely used organizational messaging solution in the U.S. Department of Defense — the DoD system of record for organizational messages. AMHS is used by military field operatives for critical communications on the battlefield and for other urgent and sensitive comms requirements. It supports more than 50 organizations around the world, including the Joint Staff, Combatant Commands, military services, defense agencies, the Intelligence Community, and the diplomatic corps.
For more than 25 years, we’ve provided digital identity and access services to defense resources for more than 2,000,000 military members, dependents, and civilian employees through the Common Access Card (CAC). We support near real-time data collection on personnel movement and location information for operating forces, civil servants, and contractors in specified operational theaters. This system has captured over 636,000,000 personnel scans since its inception. We custom-build our identity, credentialing, and access management solutions to function effectively in austere environments that demand reliability and performance at all times, supported by a responsive global logistics infrastructure.
