IDVetting is a comprehensive managed service for fingerprint background checks. It directly submits electronic biometric fingerprints to the FBI to compare with an Identity History Summary (often called a criminal history record) with fast (less than 24 hours) electronic response for customers who have authorized access under federal statutes (FBI Channeling).

The first component to the IDVetting fingerprint background check solution is the front-end online services for capturing personal information (name, address, etc.) as well as our electronic fingerprint capture capability. This front-end portal also lets you schedule appointments for fingerprinting and allows payment for the service with a credit/debit card if required.
The second component of the solution is the back-end services for submitting and managing the submissions, interacting with trusted organizations like the FBI, and handling exceptions or errors. Finally, our solution includes online services for delivering results to the authorized recipients and provides additional capabilities such as reporting.
