Agreement Provides Agencies Throughout the Federal Government with Access to Xacta IA Manager and Telos Automated Message Handling System Solutions
ASHBURN, Va. – November 17, 2009 – Telos® Corporation has been awarded a SmartBuy/Enterprise Software Initiative (ESI) blanket purchase agreement (BPA) with the Department of Defense (DoD) for Xacta® IA Manager and its Automated Message Handling System (AMHS). Through the BPA and Telos GSA Schedule, military and civilian agencies can purchase Telos’ software, training and support services with increased ease and at significant discounts from list pricing. Xacta IA Manager is currently the only certification and accreditation (C&A) automation product available through the DoD Enterprise Software Initiative.
“Telos solutions and services allow enterprises to conduct their affairs securely and with assurance,” said John Wood, chairman and CEO, Telos Corporation. “Agencies have easy access to products that can help them to manage their messaging information with efficiency and economy, continuously assess the risk and vulnerability of their systems, and comply with the complex C&A processes required by individual agencies and reporting mandated by Congress.”
Xacta IA Manager is a continuous risk management framework that automates and enforces IT security processes across the enterprise. It combines industry-leading security compliance and continuous risk assessment functionality with powerful process automation to establish a centralized IT governance, risk management and compliance (IT GRC) platform. Xacta IA Manager streamlines and enforces IT security standards and best practices for compliance assessment, continuous risk and sustained compliance management, giving executives and IT personnel rapid access to the information needed for fully informed risk-based decision-making.
Telos Automated Message Handling System (AMHS) is an organizational messaging application that meets official information exchange and organizational messaging requirements for DoD, coalition partners, and other government agencies. AMHS charts the way ahead for official information exchange as requirements for command and control record communications traffic evolve, and unified communications capabilities optimize opportunities for collaboration. While still able to take full advantage of legacy transport infrastructures, AMHS easily adapts to future transport technologies and standards.
The BPA can be used by any agency within the Federal community.
