Xacta: IT and Cyber Risk Management Platform

Telos Corporation has released Xacta 360™ 2.0 and Xacta.io™ 2.0, further enhancing the industry-leading Xacta® cyber risk management and continuous compliance platform.

Enhancements to Xacta 360

Xacta 360 2.0 has a revitalized, newly modern look and feel. Improvements include an improved layout and enhanced typography and iconography to present a cleaner, more spacious user interface.

In addition, this release features a new “My Projects” page. This page provides a clean, user-friendly interface to view all projects and registration requests.

Xacta 2.0 also includes a new home page which gives users a visual guide to core features of the application and also provides easy and convenient navigation to commonly-accessed areas of the application, such as “My Assignments,” the new “My Projects” page mentioned above, as well as access to reports, the ability to search for a project using its tracking number—and much more.

The view of Tasks in Xacta 2.0 has also been enhanced with a Kanban-style presentation for a more intuitive user interface. This view allows users to easily view and track where tasks are in the workflow, see all process steps within a task, and filter across different roles. In addition, Xacta 360 2.0 now allows users to view the status of all tasks in a given project.

Other significant new features and enhancements include implementing a “Master-Detail” UI design approach for key pages (including the Controls Implementation Page, the Risk Registry Page and the Remediation Plan Page). This new, intuitive design is structured to bring important information to the forefront. In addition, accessing the information you need on these pages is faster and easier than before. And an improved bulk-edit feature means you can make updates across multiple records in just a few clicks.

Other features include:

  • New vocabularies
  • Applicability terms (which can be used to enhance data-driven expressions)
  • API capabilities

Enhancements to Xacta.io

Multiple enhancements have also been made to Xacta.io, including the creation of a new import analyst role, the ability to preconfigure dashboards for leadership and other stakeholders and more.

An improvement to the integration between Xacta.io and Xacta 360 includes the ability to fully manage vulnerability-based remediation plans from either solution. Authorized users will now be able to add/remove vulnerabilities from existing remediation plans. Also, it’s now possible to have remediation plans close automatically based on favorable results on telemetry data ingested by Xacta.io.

Other enhancements include:

  • Improved processing time for certain files/assets
  • More filter options for data based on calculation/update status
  • Improved visibility on file import status

These changes are designed to streamline and simplify the overall user experience and make Xacta easier and more intuitive than ever. Risk management professionals can use Xacta 360 to view an organization’s security and compliance posture for immediate analysis and action and use Xacta.io to correlate scan results from multiple security products to understand trending security issues in a given environment.
