Veterans Day 2023

On Saturday, November 11, at precisely 11 a.m., a wreath will be laid at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington Cemetery. The site, which sits on a hillside overlooking the Potomac River and Washington, D.C., has become an iconic symbol of military service and sacrifice.

The ceremony will mark the 70th annual National Veterans Day Observance, honoring the men and women who have served and continue to serve in the U.S. armed forces during war and peacetime.

And while we remember veterans who have died on November 11, Veterans Day is largely intended to thank and recognize living veterans. I encourage everyone to pause and reflect on the dedication and sacrifices of all veterans and their families this weekend.

If you have never witnessed the ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, consider it – it is a sobering, worthwhile experience. Information about the Veterans Day Observance and a link to the live feed of the 2023 wreath-laying ceremony can be found on the Arlington Cemetery website.

To all our veterans in our extended Telos community – employees, customers, and partners – thank you.
