Joint Cyber Operations Panel Closes Annual Conference
ASHBURN, Va. – March 1, 2011 –Government cybersecurity professionals attending Security Solutions 2011 May 10-13 in Tampa, Fla., will hear from a cadre of noted cyberspace thought leaders from military, civilian agencies, and industry throughout the three-day conference.
Retired Air Force Gen. Michael Hayden will kick off the conference giving the keynote address the morning of May 11 at the Tampa Marriott Waterside Hotel and Marina. General Hayden served as Director of the Central Intelligence Agency and Deputy Director of National Intelligence prior to his retirement from active duty in 2008 after more than 38 years of service.
The second day of the conference will feature two general session speakers. Air Force Brig. Gen. Earl Matthews, Director of Command, Control, Communications and Computer Systems for U.S. Transportation Command, will talk about full-spectrum deployment and distribution solutions. Later, Air Force Maj. Gen. Paul Capasso, Director of Network Services for the Office of Information Dominance and CIO, Office of the Secretary of the Air Force, will discuss the creation of a cyber infrastructure.
The conference will close on the third day with a panel discussion on cyber in joint operations, to be moderated by Air Force Brig. Gen. Greg Brundidge, Director of Command, Control, Communications and Warfighting Integration at Headquarters U.S. European Command.
Security Solutions 2011 provides government leaders working in IT security with a forum where they can collaborate and discuss cutting-edge solutions that secure the cyber world.
