Portable, weatherproof WLAN components that extend your network to remote locations.
Telos is delivering the Army’s next generation high-speed, long-range wireless network. CAISI (the Combat Service Support Automated Information System Interface) is a communications system in transportable cases that will be fielded to logistics organizations worldwide. These secure, tactical wireless LAN modules provide last-mile connectivity from warfighters in both the training and operational environment to their logistics networks.
CAISI provides 802.11a/b/g based wireless connectivity across the spectrum of conflict. When linked to satellite communications, CAISI provides a “reach back” capability to sustainment organizations. It allows them access to sources of supply and support. Each module uses wireless bridging to support a logistics support area up to four miles in diameter and can either stand alone or be used with other modules to create a mesh network.
