Hugh Barrett
Vice President, Product Development
Areas of expertise: Information assurance, compliance and accreditation (C&A) convergence

Hugh Barrett is vice president of product development for Telos, a position he has held since February 2000.  Barrett joined the company in 1999 and served as product manager, Enterprise Integration.  Before joining the Telos team, he served as product manager, database interfaces and data drivers, with Information Builders, of New York.  He also served as database administrator for Long Island Railroad. Barrett is a graduate of the State University of New York College at Brockport, with a B.S. in computer science.  He also has a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification.

Robert Brandewie
Senior Vice President, Identity and Security Solutions
Areas of expertise: Identity management, Common Access Card (CAC)

Robert Brandewie is the senior vice president, Identity and Security Solutions, for Telos, a position he has held since joining the company in November 2007.  He directs the company’s efforts in assisting government organizations in effectively meeting increased security challenges with innovative services and software solutions.  Prior to joining the company, Brandewie was senior vice president for Public Sector Solutions at ActivIdentity Corp. of Fremont, Calif., a software company that provides smart card-based solutions.  He served previously in government for 32 years at the Defense Manpower Data Center, a field activity reporting to the Office of the Secretary of Defense (Manpower and Readiness), retiring as its director in 2006.   He was responsible for oversight of the largest and most comprehensive automated personnel data base in the Department of Defense and the management of a dozen major operational programs.  Most notably, he led the effort to design, develop and field the Common Access Smartcard as the new DoD identification card – currently more than 12 million have been issued.

Brandewie has a B.A. in psychology from the University of Connecticut and an M.A. in administrative sciences from Yale University.  In 2006, Brandewie received the Presidential Rank Award of Distinguished Executive.  He has twice been awarded the Presidential Rank Award of Meritorious Executive, in 1997 and 2002, has three times been the recipient of the Secretary of Defense Medal for Meritorious Civilian Service and was awarded the Secretary of Defense Exceptional Civilian Service Award.  He was selected for the Outstanding Smart Card Achievement Leadership Award for 2005 and as one of the Fed 100 in 2004, an award based on influencing the course of federal information technology.  He currently serves on the boards of the Federation for Identity Cross Credentialing Systems (FiXs) and the Monterrey Credit Union.

Lisa Kimball
Vice President, DMDC Operations, Telos Identity Management Solutions, LLC

Lisa Kimball is Vice President of Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC) operations for Telos Identity Management Solutions, LLC (Telos ID).  Since joining the company in July 2006, she has been responsible for operating major programs that affect individual members of the Department of Defense, as well as other Federal departments and agencies.  The primary projects directed within this program are Real-Time Automated Personnel Reporting System (RAPIDS), which enables the production of millions of DoD Common Access Cards (CACs) each year; and the Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS), which involves various physical force protection projects. Prior to joining the company, Kimball served in a variety of positions at Nortel Government Solutions, including director, Managed Services Division; senior staff, Civilian Government Sector; and director of quality.  She also held various positions with Electronic Data Systems, Herndon, Va.; Xybion Medical Systems, Cedar Knolls, N.J.; Corning Medical Informatics, Rutherford, N.J; and Phillips-Van Heusen Corporation, Bridgewater, N.J.  Kimball is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA), the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) the Software Engineering Institute (SEI), and is a senior member of the American Society for Quality (ASQ).  She is also actively involved in the greater Loudoun community, as a member of the Loudoun County Medical Reserve Corps, a volunteer firefighter and Emergency Medical Technician, as past president of the Beth Chaverim Reform Congregation and as board member for the Tikva Center for Hope. 

Mike Masters
Vice President, Secure Messaging Solutions
Areas of expertise: Automated Message Handling System (AMHS)

Mike Masters is vice president, Secure Messaging Solutions, a position he has held since October 2005.  Masters joined the company in 1999 and served as an Automated Message Handling System (AMHS) engineer, AMHS project engineer and AMHS program manager.  Before joining the Telos team, Masters served in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years as an air intelligence officer, targeting officer and signals intelligence officer.  He also has extensive experience as a systems architect, system engineer, project engineer, program manager, and served as vice president of communications systems at California Microwave Inc., now the California Microwave Systems division of Northrop Grumman, before coming to Telos.  Masters earned a B.A. in government and economics from the University of North Texas and attended the Law School at the University of Houston.  Additionally, he is a graduate of the School of Crypotologic Sciences and the U.S. Air Force’s Squadron Officer School and Air Command and Staff College.  He is a member of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA), past president of the Parent, Teacher and Student Association and served on the science text book selection committee for Texas middle schools.

Jim Morehouse
Vice President, CITS Programs
Areas of expertise: Combat Information Transport Systems (CITS)

Jim Morehouse is vice president, CITS Programs, for Telos Secure Networks. Previously, he served as vice president, Strategic Programs and NETCENTS Program Manager since joining the company in September 2004.  Before joining Telos, Morehouse previously served as SAFTAS program manager for Anteon Corp.  Prior to that, he served 32 years in the U.S. Air Force, including as director of command and control, Headquarters Air Force; deputy for training, U.S. Joint Forces Command Joint Warfighting Center; commander of the 552d Air Control Wing, Tinker AFB, Okla.; assistant director for operations, U.S. Air Forces in Europe; commander, 100th Air Refueling Wing, RAF Mildenhall, England; and European planner, Joint Staff, Washington, D.C. Morehouse has an M.A. in international security studies from Tufts University, an M.S. in systems management from the University of Southern California and a B.A. in international relations, also from the University of Southern California.  He is a member of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA), the Air Force Association and the Order of Daedalians.

David Wilson
Director of Sales Engineering, Information Assurance
Areas of expertise: security process automation, risk management metrics, Xacta IA Manager, compliance issues, C&A

David Wilson is director of sales engineering for information assurance at Telos Corporation.  He was one of the original inventors of the patented Xacta C&A and information security risk compliance technology.  Prior to joining the company as a product manager in 1998, Wilson worked for Booz-Allen Hamilton as a security consultant for numerous federal clients on crypto key management systems, air traffic control systems and network security assignments.  Previously, he also was involved in the development of several commercially focused Managed Security Service offerings for Veritect.  Wilson earned a B.S. in electrical engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.  Additionally, he has a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification and is a member of the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA). His interests include security process automation, risk management metrics and Service Level Agreement management.
