Tom Badders is the director of strategic development and government relations for the Telos' Secure Networks Group. Tom has been in the systems and network integration industry for 34 years. He has significant experience in matching leading-edge technology to solving the communications needs of our federal government customers. For the past 14 years he has focused exclusively on network and security design and integration of Wireless Local Area Networks (WLANs). In his current role, he is also the Secure Networks Group's lead on government relations, to include pursuing congressionally appropriated funds for our customers' key projects
Robert Brandewie is the senior vice president, Identity and Security Solutions, for Telos ID. He directs the company's efforts in assisting government organizations in effectively meeting increased security challenges with innovative services and software solutions. Prior to joining Telos in November 2007, Brandewie was senior vice president for Public Sector Solutions at ActivIdentity Corp. of Fremont, Calif., a software company that provides smart card-based solutions. He served previously in government for 32 years at the Defense Manpower Data Center, a field activity reporting to the Office of the Secretary of Defense (Manpower and Readiness), retiring as its director in 2006. He was responsible for oversight of the largest and most comprehensive automated personnel data base in the Department of Defense and the management of a dozen major operational programs. Most notably, he led the effort to design, develop and field the Common Access Smartcard as the new DoD identification card – currently more than 12 million have been issued.
Tom Dimtsios is senior director of cybersecurity consulting at Telos Corporation. He is responsible for assessment and accreditation efforts for commercial customers using DoD, federal, and international standards. Since joining the company in 1990, he has served as the director of commercial solutions for information assurance, the technical project manager for Telos Information Protection Services Division as well as a senior enterprise security consultant and as a systems engineer supporting the company's efforts in military communications and communications management. Dimtsios has a B.A. in zoology from the University of New Hampshire and a B.S. in computer science from Monmouth University. He is also certified as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), member of ISC2 and patent holder on Telos' Xacta IA Manager product.
Justin Furniss is the director of product management and development for Information Assurance, where he is responsible for overseeing the direction and development of Xacta IA Manager along with several Telos proprietary applications. Prior to assuming this position at the beginning of 2010, Furniss also served Telos as project manager for internal applications, as a senior enterprise security analyst and as a software security analyst since joining the company in 2004. Prior to his arrival at Telos, he did QA work and some development for Blue Mountain Quality Resources, provided tech support for several small to midsize ISPs and was a start-up principal for Innovative Search Engine Software Company. He earned an B.S. from Pennsylvania State University in Information Sciences Technology (I.S.T.) with a focus on systems integration and information retrieval.
Lisa Kimball is Vice President of Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC) operations for Telos Identity Management Solutions, LLC (Telos ID). Since joining the company in July 2006, she has been responsible for operating major programs that affect individual members of the Department of Defense, as well as other Federal departments and agencies. The primary projects directed within this program are Real-Time Automated Personnel Reporting System (RAPIDS), which enables the production of millions of DoD Common Access Cards (CACs) each year; and the Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS), which involves various physical force protection projects. Prior to joining the company, Kimball served in a variety of positions at Nortel Government Solutions, including director, Managed Services Division; senior staff, Civilian Government Sector; and director of quality. She also held various positions with Electronic Data Systems, Herndon, Va.; Xybion Medical Systems, Cedar Knolls, N.J.; Corning Medical Informatics, Rutherford, N.J; and Phillips-Van Heusen Corporation, Bridgewater, N.J. Kimball is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA), the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) the Software Engineering Institute (SEI), and is a senior member of the American Society for Quality (ASQ). She is also actively involved in the greater Loudoun community, as a member of the Loudoun County Medical Reserve Corps, a volunteer firefighter and Emergency Medical Technician, as past president of the Beth Chaverim Reform Congregation and as board member for the Tikva Center for Hope.
John Klemens is technical director of Information Assurance Solutions, where he is responsible for ensuring the business area's needs are met with regard to the use and integration of IT and IA tools and technologies to provide the right solutions for customers. Prior to assuming this position, Mr. Klemens was a business practice director for Information Assurance, where he was responsible for business development and the supervision of teams performing certifications of government systems in accordance with NIST and OMB guidance. Mr. Klemens, who originally joined Telos in 1991, has also served the company as an engineer. He has worked in similar positions with SRA International, Exodus Communications and Booz Allen Hamilton. Mr. Klemens began his career as an officer in the U.S. Army. He earned a B.S. in computer science from Ohio University and an M.S. in information systems from the Air Force Institute of Technology. Mr. Klemens is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and has been a member of ISC2 since 2000.
Mike Masters is vice president, Secure Messaging Solutions, a position he has held since October 2005. Masters joined the company in 1999 and served as an Automated Message Handling System (AMHS) engineer, AMHS project engineer and AMHS program manager. Before joining the Telos team, Masters served in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years as an air intelligence officer, targeting officer and signals intelligence officer. He also has extensive experience as a systems architect, system engineer, project engineer, program manager, and served as vice president of communications systems at California Microwave Inc., now the California Microwave Systems division of Northrop Grumman, before coming to Telos. Masters earned a B.A. in government and economics from the University of North Texas and attended the Law School at the University of Houston. Additionally, he is a graduate of the School of Crypotologic Sciences and the U.S. Air Force's Squadron Officer School and Air Command and Staff College. He is a member of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA), past president of the Parent, Teacher and Student Association and served on the science text book selection committee for Texas middle schools.
Mike Ortt is the Director of Identity Management Programs for Telos ID, where he is responsible for the oversight of customer program services delivery. Prior to assuming this position, Mr. Ortt served as Director of Programs, Program Manager and Solution Architect supporting the Common Access Card program for the Defense Manpower Data Center. Prior to his arrival at Telos 15 years ago, Mr. Ortt worked for Unisys Corporation as a senior network engineer and project manager supporting network solutions deployments for the General Services Administration and U.S. Coast Guard throughout the country. He earned a B.A. in Economics and Business Administration (dual major) from McDaniel College in Westminster, Md.
Winston Payne is the Army business development and program manager for Telos Secure Networks, where he is responsible for determining customer requirements and establishing long-term business relationships with both customers and key partners to expand the use of Telos' solutions within the Army. Mr. Payne has been with Telos Corporation for 21 years and has served previously as a program manager, project manager and wireless LAN site installation project manager. Prior to his arrival at Telos, Mr. Payne served in the United States Naval Submarine Service. He attended the University of Alabama, Huntsville, and is a member of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA), the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) and the Project Management Institute (PMI).
Jeff Schneider is director of emerging technologies for Telos, a position he has held since January 2009. Schneider joined the company in July 1999 and served as manager of internal applications, senior application developer, and graphic artist/developer. Before joining the Telos team, he served as webmaster for the MultiMedia Telecommunications Association, a subsidiary of the Telecommunications Industry Association. Schneider is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University.
Dan Sherman is director of information security for Telos Corporation. Prior to assuming this position at the beginning of 2011, Mr. Sherman also served Telos as research lead for Information Assurance (IA), IA program manager, ISEE project manager and as a senior enterprise security consultant since joining the company in October 2001. Prior to his arrival at Telos, Mr. Sherman worked for ISP TSI Broadband in a variety of roles. He earned a diploma in network engineering and data communications from the Chubb Institute. Mr. Sherman is certified as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Information System Security Architecture Professional (ISSAP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Certified HIPAA Security Professional (CHSP) and is Fortify SCA certified. Mr. Sherman is an advisory board member for the Computer and Network Security (CNS) program at Anthem Institute. He is a member of Infragard and a volunteer of the (ISC)2 Safe and Secure Program to teach young people about online security.
Rob Smith is director of technology and architecture for Telos Secure Networks, a position he has held since January 2008. Smith joined the company in June 1997 and served as chief systems architect and a senior network engineer. He graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology with a B.S. in computer science in 1993.
Charisse Stokes is the senior director of southeast operations for Telos, as well as the company's NETCENTS program manager. In this capacity, she serves as the primary liaison to the U.S. Air Force's Program Management Office for the service's largest IT products, services and solutions contract vehicle, managing costs, schedules and performance for a diverse portfolio and customers across the Department of Defense. She joined the company in 2004 as the director of Alabama operations and the NETCENTS deputy program manager. Before joining the Telos team, she served on active duty as an officer in the U.S. Air Force, and then as a functional analyst at Titan Corp. Stokes earned a B.S. in ceramic engineering from Clemson University and an MBA in finance from Auburn University. She has a Level II certification in program management from the Defense Acquisition University and is a member of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA) and the National Contract Management Association (NCMA).
David Wilson is director of sales engineering for information assurance at Telos Corporation. He was one of the original inventors of the patented Xacta C&A and information security risk compliance technology. Prior to joining the company as a product manager in 1998, Wilson worked for Booz-Allen Hamilton as a security consultant for numerous federal clients on crypto key management systems, air traffic control systems and network security assignments. Previously, he also was involved in the development of several commercially focused Managed Security Service offerings for Veritect. Wilson earned a B.S. in electrical engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. Additionally, he has a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification and is a member of the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA). His interests include security process automation, risk management metrics and Service Level Agreement management. |
