| When disaster strikes, coordinating the schedules of government agencies, first responders, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), military commands and volunteer organizations is a monumental challenge. And it's not just the people who need to be assigned and deployed, but materials that need to accompany them – food, water, tools and first aid supplies.
Now with MAAC eScheduler you can efficiently manage both routine emergency operations center activities (including resources and personnel) as well as direct real-time crisis response operations in accordance with the requirements of the National Incident Management System (NIMS). All parties are informed and engaged through multiple outreach and reachback mechanisms, allowing each person to communicate according to his or her own preferences. |
Immediately Deployable with No Hardware to Buy or IT Infrastructure to Staff
A secure, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) disaster personnel scheduling solution with dynamic mapping of physical realities and capabilities, MAAC eScheduler can be deployed immediately to any location in support of port authorities, military agencies, first responders, and disaster management. MAAC eScheduler helps you define and coordinate disaster personnel requirements with professionals and volunteers anywhere they may be, reducing the time required to get and keep all responding organizations in sync. And no new hardware means no additional IT support staff to maintain the system.
MAAC eScheduler offers these key capabilities:
Multimodal and Universal communication framework enables on-demand communication among participating critical organizations via e-mail, SMS text messaging, Twitter and traditional telephone. It enhances emergency communications during routine incidents and scheduling. In times of an extreme crisis, MAAC eScheduler ensures that the people who need to communicate, can communicate.

Notification and Alert module is a secure, role-based notification platform that alerts employees, partners, contractors, and field personnel anytime, anywhere when a pertinent incident or event status has changed. When confronted with an emergency, timely notification of and response to certain event status changes are critical.
Training Scheduling capability allows the organizer to offer training according to the required skill sets. Training sessions are filled on a first-come-first-served basis and are available to multiple contracting organizations.
Training and Certification management ensures efficient mapping of skills to task assignments. The right disaster personnel are matched to the right jobs so all requirements are met.
Multi-Organization framework provides a secure social network in which each organization can maintain a public or private profile. By maintaining a private profile, an organization can communicate with the incident manager, but no other organization is aware of its presence in the MAAC eScheduler. Organization data is kept confidential and only accessible to the organization members and administrators. With a public profile, an organization can establish relationships with other organizations assuming both members agree.
Perimeter Control and Ground personnel presence confirmation – MAAC eScheduler was designed to work seamlessly with the MAAC Access product for added capabilities. When combined with MAAC Access, multi-factor authentication is possible with biometric confirmation of identity if desired. This results in on-site confirmation and authentication of scheduled personnel along with mobile perimeter control of the event or emergency. At any time, full visibility of the staffing is available as well as the ability to dynamically add or control staffing as needed. Additional capabilities include:
- Simple Internet browser attendance control
- Mobile (PDA) Token or ID card based attendance control
- Recognition of a wide variety of existing organization credentials, or credentials can be issued by MAAC: Access
- Mobile (PDA) Biometric authentication guaranteeing positive identity
MAAC eScheduler offers government agencies, first responders, military commands and NGOs real time accountability, and the assurance that emergency personnel and volunteers are assigned to the locations where they can be most effective, with the supplies they need. Individual workers know where to report, when to be there, and just what to do. In one easily accessible system, personnel requirements are defined, employees and volunteers are assigned and approved, individuals receive instructions, and their appearance on site is verified.
What was once a cumbersome manual process requiring multiple spreadsheets, lists and databases is now dramatically simplified and more efficient. One intuitive, secure, scalable and accessible system dynamically maps available personnel to event requirements and automates deployment.
